POSITION: Senior ICT Expert – (minimum 660 working days)

Project description: The overall objective of the project is to enhance the competitiveness of Kosovo’s digital and traditional businesses by supporting growth of Kosovo’s ICT sector leading to growth and new job creation. The purpose of this contract is to bridge the digital and business skills gap in a sustainable manner that meets the needs of the market and increases the competitiveness of Kosovo’s digital and traditional businesses and to increase the export of Kosovar ICT businesses, and traditional businesses through the use of ICT.

Key expert 2: Senior ICT Expert – (minimum 660 working days)
Will support the team leader in the implementation if the project and replace the him/her in his/her absence;
Will support the coordination between all beneficiaries;
Will coordinate, supervise and assure quality with regards to non-key experts related to the development and delivery of ICT related trainings;
Will co-ordinate with the relevant civil society organisations, other donors and co-operation projects;

Qualifications and skills

• A university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in the field of Computer Science. A Master in the field of Computer Science is considered as an advantage.

General professional experience

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the area of Computer Science.

Specific professional experience

• Experience[9] in at least 3 projects[10] covering the field of development and/or delivery of ICT trainings.
• Experience[11] in at least 3 projects[12] covering the field of programming skills[13] and software development.

All experts must be independent and free from conflicts of interest in the responsibilities they take on.
